Before posting in the Art Contest forum, it is required that you read these rules.

1. Use your own art
You can ONLY enter you own artwork in an art contest. Entering someone else's work is considered art theft and will warrant a warning.


2. Give enough information
When making a contest thread, make sure you give enough information in the first post so that eligible contestants know what to do. No one will enter a contest which they don't understand.


3. Only one active contest per person
You may only create 1 contest at one time. If you have more than 1 contest running at once, the newer thread will be locked. You can pm a mod to have it unlocked when the first contest ends/becomes inactive.


4. No limit to participating in contests
You may participate in as many contests as you would like at once, just make sure you keep track of them all.


5. Make and stick to deadlines
When making a contest thread, please create deadlines for entries, and please stick to them. If there is a justifiable reason for changing a deadline, that is fine. Don't just change a deadline for no reason though, as it creates confusion and can get annoying.


6. Private Contests
You may create private contests. A private contest is where the entrants are asked to join prior to the creation of the contest, and they are the ONLY people allowed. When creating a private contest, please indicate that it is private in the thread title or subtitle.


These are the official rules for the art contest forum, please obey them and there will be no problems. If you have any suggestions for rules, please PM an admin/mod to discuss it.
