Trade rules

These are the official trading rules, so be sure to follow them if you want to keep your account clean.

1. One thread every two weeks
Please only create one thread in the trading forum every two weeks. This is to prevent the build-up of topics that die after only a couple days. Creating more than one thread in 2 weeks will result in the newer thread being deleted.


2. When making a trade thread, you must include the following:

• What you have up for trade (If you have a large amount to trade then you may list some and ask for them to check your account for the rest).
  
• What you are looking for
  
• Your game account username

3. Double Posting
You may only double post in a trading thread if you are the thread creator, and only if it is to bump the thread. You can only bump your thread if it has been inactive for at least three days. Double posts that do not fit into this rule with either be deleted, or merged with the above post.


4. A No is a No
If you make an offer in someone's trading thread, and they reject the offer, please do not post the exact same offer for the same Pokemon. They said no for a reason.


5. Stay On-topic
When making a post in a trading thread (even if it is your own), please stay on-topic. This is to help prevent spam and keep the trading threads clean.


6. Make an offer
If you see something you like and want to negotiate a trade with the owner, actually post an offer instead of saying, "Check my thread / in-game account". This makes it easier for the person who owns the trade thread.


7. Custom Rules
Most trading threads have a set of rules in the first post that are written by the thread creator. Please follow these rules as well, as the creator obviously put them there as a precaution to prevent unwanted posts.


8. Images
From now on you can list all your Pokemon for trade in the first post by using the pk tags. Please only use PK tags if you decide to use images, instead of links. For those who don't know how to use a PK tag, follow this:

Those are the trading rules, please follow them if you wish to trade with another member. It will keep everything flowing nicely and we won't need to give out warns.
